Non-Profit Organizations could not operate without the individuals that serve on the Board of Directors. These individual Board members are leaders in the community and are often very busy. At times, Board members’ roles and responsibilities are not always clear to them. And roles may shift as the organization grows and changes.

Roles and Responsibilities

Winalski Consulting LLC can provide training to Boards and Board members to help them understand their roles and responsibilities, address organizational changes and maximize their involvement to help the organization succeed.

We can provide materials, review bylaws and governance documents as needed, discuss best practices, and answer questions.

Vision and Strategy

Board members oversee the organization and work with the Executive Director who manages the day-to-day operations and staff. When it comes to vision, strategy and growth, it can be useful to have conversations between the Board, Executive Director and Staff to ensure everyone is on the same page and moving in the same direction.

Winalski Consulting LLC can facilitate those conversations and help the organization take action.

Fundraising

Not everyone likes asking for money! But Board members are often required to donate to the non-profit organization and raise additional funds. Dawn has raised funds through cold calling alumni, hosting events and through targeted giving strategies. She can help develop a fundraising strategy, and provide tools to help increase Board member engagement and participation in the overall organizational fundraising strategy.
